Learn everything there is to know about Big Game Football FactoryWHO WE ARE
We make the most important object in America’s favorite game. Big Game Football Factory is the largest American-owned football manufacturer in the United States, and has been in business since 1993. We produce thousands of footballs every day, from pee wee up to pro.
Our factory is located in Dallas, Texas, USA.
Team Issue is Big Game Football Factory’s in-house football brand, and is the official football of 3 FBS programs (Utah, Navy, UAB) and over 6,000 high schools nationwide.
About 100,000 per year.
Nearly all of them! We’ve made the ball for 11 of the last 12 FBS national champions and 112 FBS programs use a football that comes from our factory. Check out our Who Throws What page to see a clear breakdown of all of the footballs made in our factory.
Currently we have about 55 skilled craftsmen and women working together to create by hand all the footballs we make.
Of course! We would love to show every football fan the work that goes into their favorite game. Here is a link to schedule a tour online. It is $20 per person and all reservations must be made more than 24 hours in advance.
We have a small store located in our factory that’s open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, but everything we have in stock is available at biggameusa.com.
Cows, born and bred in the USA.
We love that you’d like to buy your favorite program’s game footballs from the factory where they’re produced. We carry a number of teams in our online store, but due to licensing agreements, we can’t always accommodate every FBS or FCS program in the country.
Unless a football is specifically listed as composite on our website, then it is crafted with rich, full grain leather from the Horween Leather Company — and skillfully built right here in Texas, USA.
Big Game does not currently offer partnerships or sponsorships.
Each year the team that wins the national championship is invited for a dinner at the White House. For decades a football made right here at the Big Game Football Factory has been presented to the President as a thank you gift from the team. No matter who the president is, it’s a huge honor.

Pre-game your ball with a layer of our Mojo Leather Conditioner, brushed in with a hand brush or power brush. From there, apply a layer of our Red River Mud as often as you feel necessary. Every coach, equipment manager and quarterback is different. Typically, college and pro managers will be applying as often as every week, and how they apply is often down to personal preference. Your football’s lifespan will depend on how often you throw it. If your football leather is slick and hard to grip and/or the ball starts to lose its shape, it’s probably time for a new one. We recommend getting a new ball each year, mostly because it’s fun. (Also, keep your football in great shape with our football mud, mojo and brush.) If you’re a QB or Kicker, you know there are few things better than a broken in football! The lifespan will ultimately depend on how much it is used and how well it’s maintained. If you need a tune-up along the way, you can always send it to us for a new bladder or a new set of laces.
